Swine Flu

It's kind of interesting how the world reacts now to the swine flu issue happening in North America. It seems that the more we are wired now, the faster we react as a population. But then, the government doesn't seem to react faster than usual (as expected, see what happened to Mexico). This happened before with the outbreak of the bird flu virus in China/Hong Kong, and SARS. But for what its worth, I'm actually down with seasonal flu and not the least worried about getting swine flu because I'm in the other side of the world where the heat pretty much kills anything ;-)

But for what its worth, Reuters has a nice article on how swine flu spreads. Being properly informed is more powerful than speculating.
